May update…
Ohh my goodness where has the time gone! Sorry I have been remiss in updating. No excuse really other than lots
of general stresses meaning that emergencies/must do’s have had to take first place…my apologies!
The groups are getting nicely established and we now have some regulars which feels comforting. We’ve done quite alot of charity knitting between us and the churc that we meet in and a large package was recently sent off to the chairty “Loving hands” who will distribute everything for us. I didnt have the heart to donate the hats to the local special care baby unit after the reception I got….as in send them if you want. With so much hard work, time andmoney going in to them I wanted them to go somewhere where they would be enthusiastically received so off they went!
Cat blankets have also been donated to the local PDSA and were gratefully received and when I can I’ll update with a cute photo if I can get one of the recipients to pose!!
It is always lovely to see people at the groups so please come along if you would like a calm couple of hours with some chat, cake and good company!
